Class T-shirt At last...

Finally my class agreed with the design but not the colour....
Terence wanted light brown colour and dark brown for the outline of our class logo...
But the class disagreed with it as they wanted black base(Even i wanted black too)
After much talking and explaining, Terence was convinced about the colour. At about 3.15 p.m, Hui zhuan, terence and (of course including myself) went to the place. It was near Paya Lebar Mrt station just five minutes walk...

Over there, we explained our design, told our colour combinations, asked some suggestions and stuff.... Later, get the date when we can collect our T-shirts..

Now, (today) Terence brought two plain black t-shirt to show to my class what our class t-shirt's cut will be like...
Tomorrow he might some soft copy too..(i don know much abt it)

The cost of the shirts: $19 ( i think it is quite reasonable..)

Posed Day.......

On Friday, we had our posed day. E1s and E2s together, we had three Jcs coming to our school to give us talks.

It was quite beneficial as we or I get to know what is the new A-level curriculum, but i did not understand what was KI. The criteria for the subject combinations that we should take is that, 3H2 subjects and 1H1 subjects together with GP/KI, Project Work and Mother Tongue. therefore this makes the total number of subjects to 6.5 as H2 subjects are counted as 0.5 subjects and H2 subjects are counted as one.

The important thing that we all should see into is that, H2 subjects are more in depth to H1 subjects and H3 subjects are more in depth compared to H2 subjects. They also included that the top 15% of the whole Singapore's O-level candidates will be allowed to take H3 subjects.

The sad thing was that, two out of the three Jcs' standard was very high( means the their cut off points were very low), this makes it very useless to me as i can't do that well to that standard. So in the end if i want to go to Jc i will have to look for something else.......(haha)

Before going to all this Jc stuff, what i wonder now is that how L1R4 and L1R4 is calculated..... i thought that these two are calculated by Grades of EL, one of the Maths, one of the Sciences, one of the Humanities (and one other subject if we are calculating L1R5)

OK i will find about that and i will include in or in another post about this.............

A person with +ve mindset can win the race.........

i don't know how far this is true but i think this really works........
During exam times, when i think and worry about shortage of time, i don't really tend to memorize properly and usually rush through......
But, under the same situation, if i think that i have done a good job by looking back at all the chapters that i am done with, i tend to do a better job with the rest of the chapters..... not only that i don't feel that i am not prepare....
COOL Aha........

I will like to quote some words of WONG KA CHUN......
He told me once that "even if i get 49/100 for any subject.... i would not feel scared because i will have a positive mindset by telling to myself that i only need 51 marks to get FULL markz!!!!!!!!"
He is telling something which is kind of true in a way (NOT THAT HE SCORE 49/100.............), but if we see things in a correct mindset we tend to feel better and not to be demoralized ..... we will do a better job next time...........
So thats why i said a person with a positive mindset can win a race....HAHA

today's physics SPA was.........

i think i would not be able to score that well for physics spa.......
I wrote, "use a cardboard and attach a string to it. Fold the cardboard which will be about five cm from it's edge, then u put the marble on the folded lines.
Then, pull the string, this will cause the marble to drop. I also included that by doing this, u will be able to get accurate results."
Sounds ridiculous rite????

Never mind about that, actually i was very relieved today. But in Biology class, when Mr Azman was going through about types of water pollution, Mr Tan came into the class to say that there is a mock physics paper (section A). Now, another headache to deal with.... OH MY GOD.........this reminds me that i HAVE to study for it because if i don't want to end up to be the boy who might get the lowest marks... who knows i might even get 5%.....:(
